Tootsi’s Natural Hazelnut Meal, also known as filbert meal, is finely ground (from whole) nuts. Hazelnut meal contains no added salt, sugar, oil, or fat. Mildly sweet and creamy in flavor, hazelnut meal is lightly textured and grainy; ideal for baking applications. Hazelnut meal can replace up to 25% of flour in recipes.
