What is California Proposition 65?

California Proposition 65 is a state law in California that requires businesses to provide clear
warnings to consumers about exposures to chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects,
or other reproductive harm. Yupik is dedicated to comply with this regulation and disclose any
traces of listed chemicals like lead and cadmium in our products. These elements are often naturally
found in the soils where our products are grown: some products may have traces, others may not.
These chemicals are only a concern if ingested in large quantities, making our products safe
and low risk. We assure you that these chemicals are never added by farmers or Yupik.

Proposition 65 is ultimately a practice assuring the full disclosure of substances found in products.
