    Tootsi’s Organic Ground Green Lentils is made from whole, dried legumes. Lentils are finely milled to create this ground variety. Mildly nutty in flavor, ground lentils are fine in texture. Ground lentils can be added to recipes as a substitute for wheat flour when using it to bind together ingredients, or as an additive to batters. Ground lentils cannot replace wheat flours completely in a recipe; we suggest 30% ground lentils and 70% flour. Use ground lentils in baking or breakfast applications to add protein.
